According to the results of the most recent poll out of the University of Texas, most of the voters in Texas feel that the removal of Confederate memorials or relocation to museums is deemed unnecessary. About 3/4 of democrats feel that the right decision is to relocate or remove the monuments while only 9 percent of republicans agree with that consensus. The general mood with these memorials is that more people would much rather leave them undisturbed.
