Tolled highway were dropped while high speed bullet train remained for battles in the Texas state government. The toll bill came from the texas department of transportation who would partner with private companies to build said tolled highways. One such highway was slated to relieve traffic in Dallas. The government is scraping hard to come up with money to repair highways to keep up population growth. Bills that are slated to hit the house in Texas include Harvey relief money, a texting while driving ban, and a controversial driver penalty program.
