Metal buildings are said to last in excess of 30 years with up to date maintenance. Water is metal’s worst enemy, accounting for much damage that metal structures can endure. Galvanic metal is used to keep the metal out but moisture exposes weaknesses in the system. They are coated with corrosion resistance to avoid such things as rust.
